ENVIRONMENT ART

Temple environment assets

I made the art for the hub of the game where you could improve your stats and start the adventure. It's a traditional japanense temple with it's garden and many wood structures.

Level 1 environment: extra assets & asset improvement

Assets improvement: This assets were made by improving some previous ones who hadn't a good quality due to a high use of airbrush and because a lack of details.

Level 2 environment: extra assets.

Final boss room improvement: New - old

Main inteface.

The design team looked for a simple interface with all the needed information, so the only data showed in game is the life and the equipped weapon, while the stats are written at the scroll that you can open by pressing tab. In addition, I added an animation of the eyebrows rising, because is a symbolic part of the main character, and make all the art with a japanense temple design.

Menu design

This is the art for the different menus, pause menu, buttons and the upgrade menu.

As you can see , we reused the opened scroll as a background for the menus and I painted different button versions to implement at Unity in order to show the button-user relation.

The final ones were for the upgrade menu, with those the player can see the empty slots to upgrade, the level he is trying to reach, and which one has adquiered.
