Hi ! I'm presenting you my first project on Unreal Engine, as I didn't know much of it before. I've decided for this project to reproduce (it's more of a remake) a 2D concept art from Yang Chan called "Highland" on Unreal Engine 5 in real-time 3D.
It's a solo work done in 2 months.

I have also decided to create idle loop versions of my project in video, whether it be day or night, ideal for wallpaper and stuff. It was a great process to learn how to do a night view in the same level.
It was a long and tiring project, yet a fruitful and enjoyable one. I've learned many different softwares during this project such as Unreal Engine, World Machine, Marvelous Designer and SpeedTree.
I didn't reproduce the original concept to the identical as it wasn't the goal. I've adapted it in order to create a world that I subjectively find logical and/or plausible with a touch of steampunk and villagers being a mix between Hobbits and Jawas (LOTR and SW being two of my favourite universes).
Chara concept inspired from Zelda BOTW, Hobbits (for the big feet in the 3D model) and Jawas.
My main goal was to learn and be able to do all the possible visuals in a game, and that I did.
Every used softwares: 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 5, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance 3D Painter, Photoshop, SpeedTree, World Machine.
