Rays simulation + Rigid Body Dynamics

For this project I have simulated rays by using an attribute transfer node between the hand's fingers and the floor, to set the influence of the rays on the floor. Then, I've scatter some points on the influenced part of the floor and on the fingers, and I have created lines between the two group of points according to

For this project I have simulated rays by using an attribute transfer node between the hand's fingers and the floor, to set the influence of the rays on the floor. Then, I've scatter some points on the influenced part of the floor and on the fingers, and I have created lines between the two group of points according to them color. To give them the look of rays,I have used a Point Vop node.


For the floor destruction I have used  a sop solver inside the dopnet. This sop solver creates groups of the influenced points of the floor by the rays, and sets the value of the attribute active to 1 (the default value is 0) so the only part that is simulated is the one who is in contact with the rays.
