Retro Rubbish

My old electric metal fan project so far. I tried to use more booleans on this than usual and that didn't go as planned. They seem to slow things down and be a big cause of crashes. :(

Geometry nodes are interesting! I used a setup for the fan blades. It took some tinkering but there is nothing I enjoy more than a good puzzle. Some lessons are best learned the hard, 4 hours later, kind of way.

Next is retopo I believe. As I said above, I tried messing with booleans around the motor area but Blender got mad. More later!
