Song of Count Olinos

This is a project based on a Spanish folk song: "Madrugaba el Conde Olinos", also known as "Romance del Conde Olinos".

It tells the story of the Count Olinos and his love for a princess. A love that was never meant to be, as his blood wasn't of royal origin. When the queen discovers these feelings, she has the count killed, but, torn by grief, the princess dies as well.

They are both buried in a church, four steps apart. From their graves, two plants blossom, trying to come together. That was the moment I wanted to portray.
