Don't Break the pots - Isometric 3D scene
Hey everyone ! Today I share with you a project I really like, that you can find on my instagram page over at @corentin_artnimation ! It is a stylized isometric 3D scene made in a few days with Cinema 4D. I hope you like it !
Now that we have met, I'd like to show you one of my favorite projects !
Last year, I had the opportunity to meet Matteyyy, a 3D illustrator also known as the co-founder of Mekaverse !
During a whole week, He showed us his creative process and asked us to create a 3D isometric scene using Cinema 4D !
In this project, I decided to go for a simplistic style, with the inside of a mysterious desertic ruin. I was inspired by one of my favorite video games, Rime, and decided to create an interior with pots, like in many video games, that are made to be broken !
I wanted to have a little bit of storytelling to accompany the ambiance and have an interesting focus point !
I filled the room with pots, the sword of some explorer, and a skull !
Sometimes, breaking the pots is a good idea, but it seems like it is not always the case...
Let's take a look at what's under the paint !
As you can see, these are all very simple and low poly models, made in both Maya and Cinema 4D ! Once the textures added, also very simply made in photoshop, and projected onto the models, I only added a little bit of lighting, like a red light source inside the room to give it a more arid and mysterious atmosphere or a spotlight through the window to create a ray of light !
I hope you enjoyed this little project that I made in a few days ! Thanks again to the great Matteyyy for his great skills and his advices !
