Gurx and Nikit
The goals of this project were to learn how to work with ZBrush, practice sculpting humanoids, improve my rigging skills and combine all three into a single real-time viable piece. I also attempted to create a simple animation loop. Sculpted in ZBrush, modeled/retopoed and rigged in Blender, textured in Painter.
Gurx - a thief, pirate, spy, assassin and an adventurer, lover of gold and trinkets and a connoisseur of fine spirits. A city born goblin with no real allegiance or tribe, accompanied by a sapient rat Nikit, whose intelligence was greatly increased as a side effect of an alchemical experiment. The unusual duo is renowned for their skills in any sort of shady activities and is always willing to work for the highest bidder. Or engage in their own "projects" if an opportunity arises.
