Thriller Bark - One Piece

Hey Internet!

I'm happy to present my take on Thriller Bark, the results of my advanced term project with Think Tank Online. This environment is based off the anime One Piece, it is the castle of Thriller Bark and home to Gecko Moria.

This was my first time creating a stylized environment, it was extremely challenging and rewarding. My art style is very unique, drawing inspiration from Tell Tale Studios, 'A wolf Among Us', 'Batman: The Telltale Series' and also 'Tales from the Borderlands'. By studying these games as well as the anime I was able to create a unique shader system to allow for the hand painted comic book look achieved in my final shots.

I would like to thank my Think Tank supervisor Jason Gullion as well as all the artist from Tell Tale Studios that I contacted and were nice enough to reply to my many questions on how they achieved the styles in the before mentioned games, legends!!
