Viking Blacksmith

Based on this amazing concept art by Nydia Ni: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/9ryPN . Completed in 10 weeks during Environment Art for Games at CGMA, taught by Peyton Varney.

An isolated cabin in the forest, where a small family lives, and a blacksmith creates weapons for fierce Vikings.

I learned a lot on this scene, and I think I've grown a lot too. I'm looking forward to using those skills on my next project, and continuing to improve! I also wanted to experiment with lighting and mood, so I made two versions, one foggy and moody, and one bright and sunny.
