Angel Sculpture

For this prompt, I was interested in building out pieces beyond the arm itself. After sculpting the arm and dress sleeve to a place I liked, I added separate pieces to build a wing. Working on the arm and wing in combination, this project had a good mix of sculpting and modeling. One problem I ran into was the subdivision levels of the project as a whole. Since the arm began as a detailed mesh template, and the wing consists of repeated primitive shapes, the subdivision of the piece as a whole would greatly impact the shape of the wing. I was eventually able to work around that, and the difference in detail is more easily forgiven since the material and structure of the two pieces is already meant to be contrasted.
