Queen: Project Quadruped
School assignment were we had to design, sculpt, retopo, uv, texture, shade, render and comp a creature.
This is a still shot of the final render.
The quadruped was sculpted in Zbrush from a very simple base I made in Maya. Textures were made in Mari mostly using masks and layers and layers of the procedural oil.
The car was Modeled from scratch in Maya and all of the shading on the car is procedurally made in Hypershade.
The ground was made using Substance Designer.

The idea phase started on paper and tablet. But kept going far into the sculpting phase due to me not liking the concept I made in 2d.

This Chimp head study was made to familiarise my self a bit with primates to inspire the design.
