Gladiator Helmet - Maximus

The helmet of Maximus Decimus Meridius. Perhaps one of the most iconic pieces of Hollywood costume of all time. I made this prop for a university project. I will not end up using it for the final product but I wanted to finish the model anyway.

This was a lot of fun to make but also had a number of challenges. The biggest being the fact I could not find any good orthographic reference images. So I instead modelled it by eye by using numerous screenshots from multiple angles.
