Colored Fluorite

This is a 3D digital sculpt of colored fluorite. When looking for reference images I realized that there are many variations of fluorite but I decided to base my sculpt on fluorite with multiple gradients and colors. Fluorite normally has many different crevasses and flat edges which was troubling at first to translate into a 3D model but after some experimentation with different alphas and brushes I was able to replicate some of the patterns from the reference image. Although polished fluorite looks translucent I wanted to go for more of a rough look while still having the color combinations of the polished versions. Even if it was my first ZBrush project I had a lot of fun creating this rock.
