Armillary sphere

I went to an exhibition about Mars and I saw this astronomical artifact called "Armillary sphere". It was so pretty that I decided to model it in 3D and texture it.

I wanted to make the textures as real as possible. Some details that I included are the engraved wood burnt details, the brushed black paint with golden floral patterns or the anisotropy in the metallic ring.

Software: Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Illustrator.
