I had fun while doing this project so I decided to upload it Here. Also 6 months are completed when I first started 3D modeling. As a progress reminder, this project will definitely help in future.

This is something I created for Monthly modeling challenge in CG Spectrum. This time it was about Firearms. I chose to go with Cannon from Attack on titan. I wanted create something from AoT for a while, took the opportunity.

I learn past few months about importance of References, thanks to weekly drills. Here my references.

I enjoy and have fun while Modeling anything, mostly finally figuring out how to model the certain part. Final model was at 29.5k tris. Model in Maya.


Then the UVs.

Baked and textured in Substance Painter. I still struggle a lot in texture part but I am started to gain some more knowledge now.

Simple and Wireframe Render in SP.


7 or 8 weeks ago I started learning about Unreal Engine 4 in my free time. So decided to render in UE4 this time. I am still not able to figure out about lightning that much sob right now I am playing with the default lightning settings.

Also Added a wall and rail track for AoT feeling.

Few days ago, I finally figure out how to render a Turntable in UE4.

Cannons on duty, protecting from those Titans.


This it it. I started learning about Zbrush from today. Definitely will come back in few months and will try to add mode details in this project. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks
