Hat man

The are many legends and stories about the Hat man and I thought it would be really fun to try and make a representation.

I based my design in The Crooved man from The Conjuring 2 movie, I remember watching the movie and loving that charater so decided to give it a try and make my own version, and to be honest I really liked how it turned out in the end.

I used Zbrush for all the details in the face, body and hat. While I've used Zbrush before, it was only to make some details in previous project, but this time, I learned the whole process and I felt more comfortable following the correct workflow, working with subdivisions, projecting geometries, painting. I had no idea about all the different tools that Zbrush has. It was so fun and I'm definitely using it again for future projects.

For the suit,, my teacher recommended me to use Marvelous designer and let me tell you, it was the first time I worked with simulations and it was so fun! I discovered I am probably not going to be a dressmaker, but doing something different from what I am used to when it comes to 3d modeling, was really interesting.

I still have so many technical aspects to learn and rendering is not my strong point, but I really hope you like my work so far.
