Dagger look development project completed in Substance Painter. The final images were rendered using Arnold in Houdini, then further adjustments were completed in Nuke.

The look I'm going for is an aged look, showing plenty of scratches, dents, scuffs and fingerprints. I've included a rune on the crossguard, which the original asset didn't have. I thought this added more personality to the dagger, possibly belonging to a particular group of people.
