Worn School Locker

This was uploaded as an activity given to us by our 'Compositing & Rendering' professor, and is considered to be my first attempt at a full asset workflow which involved modeling a low poly object, producing a high poly version and baking the details to the low poly model, texturing and rendering.

Round of applause for our sponsors

This is the first time I've done a full game ready workflow but here is how it goes:

I modeled the locker in Blender with the help of reference images I found on google images. Once a low poly model was made, I immediately went into UV unwrapping then proceeded to make a high poly variant by doing a voxel remesh within Blender then doing a Subdivision Surface Modifier and some very light sculpting.

Marmoset Toolbag 3 was used for baking the high poly details to the low poly model. After extracting the maps I needed, everything was then transferred to Substance Painter for texturing.

I imported the model and textures to Blender and Marmoset Toolbag 3 for presentation. Blender Cycles being the first choice for showcasing a static render and Marmoset Toolbag 3 for presenting the model for interactive viewing.

Any feedback/suggestions will be much appreciated and would go a long way in helping me improve my craft!
