Ice Cream Advertisement
Ice Cream advertisement inspired by Nestle Boss (vimeo.com/168906173). Simulations are done with SideFX Houdini, rendered in Arnold for Maya and composited in Nuke. All aspects are done by me, besides the modeling and texturing which were done by Leon Stürmer.

Breakdown video showcasing the simulations from within Houdini
Fairly simple setup in terms of emission (1) and simulation (2). The main part was getting the meshing correct (3), which took some tinkering with Houdini's VDB operators. Adding some extra particles where needed, resulted in a smooth mesh even at lower to medium simulation resolutions.
