Final Project

When making the waterfall, I need to make the cliff and the terrain fit. This is the most difficult. In the end, the waterfall that you see from the pictures and videos is not completely appropriate. From some angles, there are still gaps. I avoid this problem visually, because the sequence and screen shots are controlled by me, so I deliberately avoided those gaps when making pictures and videos.

The inside of the house (including the house) in the second picture was made, modeled, and textured by me. Originally I wanted to make a horror house, but because of time (if I do everything by myself, there is not enough time), I changed my strategy and no longer made modeling by myself. So this house exists next to the second house as an accessory to the complete house next to it.

I downloaded a lot of assets from the EPIC Unreal Engine Market, The third picture was downloaded from the EPIC Unreal Engine Market, but it only has every part of the house, so I spliced ​​the house together and it now becomes what it is now.

The fourth to sixth pictures are the 1-3 floors of the house. There are many. When building the house, because the house is a rigid body, sunlight cannot enter. All the lighting in the house needs to be created by myself. This is one of my problems, because there are a lot of trees and a whole sun in my entire scene, plus there are many small actors in the house. Every time I modify the light source or create a new light source, I need to rebuild the lighting. There are almost 3000 items.

Baking takes a lot of time each time. Once UE4 crashes or fails to rebuild the lighting, it will take me a lot of time to re-bake. The lighting problem bothered me when I made my project. Because of the lack of time, I think my lighting has not been achieved, what I imagined in my heart, if I have time to continue this project in the future, I should revise the lighting to what I think is perfect (but definitely it will take a lot of time).
