Round of applause for our sponsors

La Grolla(Italian) or La Grole(French) is considered to be a cup as well as a bow from the area between the French Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Italian Valle D’Aosta region.

Traditionally handmade by curving a single piece of wood with floral decorations on the body and on the lid as well. The multi-spouted design is meant to be use for sharing a warm beverage, normally a fortified coffee, with everyone using a designated spouted to take a sip of it.

What you see here is my personal attempt to create an even more peculiar design using for inspiration a Victorian era teapot. Preserving the unique Alpine style was really important and, in order to do so, I have used a combination of leaves, flowers and fruits for the goldish decoration.

Using a liquid simulation to pop up all the scene has started to appear as an option to me only a week ago when I wanted to relax trying something new. Since this is my first attempt to use Bifrost I consider the final result somehow decent but, with a lot of room for improvement!

Hope you all like it!
