Battle axe, from 2D to 3D

I follow an online 2D art drawing course to sharpen my preparation skills for 3D art. One of the tasks were to draw a battle ax.

One of these concepts I liked very much so I decided to convert it into a Blender 3D object.

The most effort went into the leather handle straps, weaving them under and over each other. This feature takes 50% of the vertices count. In total 66K vertices.
