Apis at the Anubis Temple
Here is my Anubis Temple! That’s a school project, the goal was to create the facade of any building. I chose to go back to the New Empire of Egypt and make a temple dedicated to the god Anubis. It was a really great project with a lot of very interesting research. I really enjoyed doing it ! Hope you'll like it.
Here is my very first CG short film after 2 years of studies learning the basics of 3D.
Very interested in Egyptian culture, I decided to make a temple, the Temple of Anubis.
Some Breakdowns :
I wanted to do everything in this little film, including my characters. So I created and rigged statues of Anubis and a bull (the god Apis).
Sunset version (Wireframe, Albedo, Beauty, Compositing)
Night version (Wireframe, Beauty, Compositing)
Another angle
First there was some concept and illustration research on paper, during a few weeks.
I researched the scenes depicted on the frescoes, the colors and materials used, I reinvented them as it suited me.
Then I digitally painted the fresco scenes that I had chosen, in 4K.
