Reuben - The Fire Wielder

Reuben the fire wielder - One of the characters In my 2021 showreel from the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts.

Over the course of about 6 weeks I designed, created, and rigged this game ready character. It was a hell of a good time testing the limits of my current character pipeline and pushing the boundaries of the human beings ability to stay awake for multiple weeks on end with only the allure of coffee to keep from the open arms of a comfy bed.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in helping me streamline the design of everything and bring this character to life, as well as a special thanks to the faculty at Van Arts whose critique and guidance was invaluable over the past year.

Wanted to take a minute to put together a rough breakdown of the character to show off some of the more technical aspects of the project.
