Update - 28 Feb 2021
Did not have time to retexture it, but I was mostly going to follow the same route I did for the last update. But here is an improved wireframe.

Here is the controller textured so far. I've tried to include as much detail as possible but I did what I could do. Some of the indents of the Wii Remote are a bit more difficult to make than expected.
I had my own Wii remote on the side for reference, and so mine is pretty dusty. I tried to capture the likeness in the model.

Update - 23 Feb 2021
So for this week's drill I am attempting a Wii Controller. I'm using my own black Wii controller for reference.
Here is the mesh so far in Autodesk Maya. I had to add subdivisions so I can sculpt certain indents on the remote; the power button, home button, and the nunchuck port. Realized I had too many polys so I retopologized it using quad draw. It's still quite heavy but not as much as before.
