For this personal project I created all the foliage and the statue in Blender, using my own photos alongside Substance Designer to create the texture atlases. All lighting, level art, and cinematics were done in Unreal Engine 4.
I used Quixel Megascans rocks and ground textures. Using these textures, I set up tri-planar based material functions that were used as part of my landscape master material. This method allowed me to blend the Megascans rocks into the rest of the scene more seamlessly while keeping everything fairly optimized.
