#WeeklyDrills040 -- ANAFI 4k Thermal Drone
For this week's Drone challenge, I decided to model an ANAFI 4k Thermal Drone by Parrott (references at the bottom). I was inspired by thermal images -- in particular the ability for that drone capability to assist with treatment & rescue efforts associated with raging fires.
Yes, the drone lacks blades for wings...we'll consider that the mock-up followed the below blueprints. So, R&D would still be in the process of figuring out what type of blades would function best prior to production :-D This would be a mock-up advertisement for potential investors.
I've always been intrigued by the blueprint rendering possibilities in Zbrush, so I figured this would be a good project to use that. As such, the model I created is presented from a variety of angles as if it were the blueprints to be followed for the above "production" proof-of-concept purposes.
Modeling started in Maya. Sculpted in Zbrush. Partial Retopology in Maya.
Rendered in Arnold (& the other in Zbrush). Post in Photoshop.
