I've always enjoyed seeing environments with a lot of atmosphere, and with the library, I wanted to do a similar style. All assets were made by me, however, wooden floor/wall texture was provided by Quixel Bridge. Assets were made in Blender, Substance Painter and built in Unreal Engine 4.
To save on texture streaming, I only made 8 objects for the books that are on the shelf. I then rearranged the UVs on each book on one texture sheet to make the illusion that there are many books on the shelves.
