Mona - Female Warrior Game Character
Mona is a female character inspired by the game Horizon Zero Dawn, and I did it for JHill's Character Creation for Video Games course. I referenced images of two different tribes of the game - the Oseram (concepts by Ilya Golitsyn) and the Banuk (concepts by Luc de Haan) as well as some famous female athletes.
Mona is a female character inspired by the game Horizon Zero Dawn, and I did it for JHill's Character Creation for Video Games course. I referenced images of two different tribes of the game - the Oseram (concepts by Ilya Golitsyn) and the Banuk (concepts by Luc de Haan) as well as images of some famous female athletes. The idea was to create a strong athletic female character, who combines the best fighter, hunter, and warrior skills.
Some tools and processes sharing:
- Block-out and high poly sculpted in Zbrush
- Low poly modeling, retopology, and UV mapping in Maya - optimized to 100 k tris
