Lux - League of Legends

This was a project I did to try one of Blur studios character models that where made available by Riot Games. Later I found out that the models didn’t come with textures so I ended up learning texture painting in Blender, hair particle combing, advanced my knowledge of Blender’s Shader nodes as well as dabbling in volumetric shaders. Everything in the scene other than the character model and scenery textures was made by me in Blender and Mixamo(for character rig).
I have not previously gone this far with my renders; it took me around three days as a few of the major components of this image used skills that I had known very little to nothing about before starting this project. The main two problems/time magnets where hair manipulation and texture painting as both of those where the things that failed the most in version one of this image(the Image below), so much so you can see I opted for the hair mesh that came with the model so it’s what I spent the most time on in version two (the image above and the final version).
