I was focusing on creating a realistic asset, while using baking to maintain a low poly count.

I used 19th century maps for the patterns on the mugs and coasters.
I used substance designer to set up multiple masks which allowed me to rotate and darken a simple wood texture to create the distinctive pattern on the top.
