Elemex - speedsculpt (Terryl Whitlatch concept)
Terryl Whitlatch is, to me, one of the greatest creature concept artists there is. It didn't take me long to find inspiration for a sculpt: as soon as I saw her Elemex drawing, the ideas were flowing and I was coming up with back stories and visuals. This is the piece I created after sculpting for a day.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I could not help but dig into Terryl Whitlatch's creature drawings in order to find a subject to sculpt. Creating this 1 day sculpt of her Elemex design was really fun and I am currently thinking about sculpting the rest of the body and posing it with another character (surprise surprise ;) ). Let me know what you think about this piece and tell me if that's something you would like to see more of.
Sculpted in ZBrush. Rendered first in KeyShot and then in Arnold (pictures displayed).
