The Banished God Vala

Vala the Avenger. Son of now-deceased Odin was cast out of

Asgard for avenging his brother Balder's death by killing Balders

slayer Hod.

After Hod killed Balder the impenetrable by using an arrow

coated in Mistletoe oil (The only thing that could penetrate

Balder who had been enchanted by his mother to be immortal)

Vala requested the New Council to allow him to hunt down Hod

and avenge his brother's death. The council had refused his

request because they believed that such was Balders Destiny.

Against the wishes of the council, Vala set out to avenge his

beloved brother. He could not accept fate and avenged his

brother's death by slaying Hod and preforming the grotesque

Blood eagle ritual on Hod to ensure he does not get granted

access into Valhalla, forever to walk the plains of forgotten souls.

The New Council Banished Vala for his inhumane slaughter of

Hod and Dismissal of the New Councils wish.

Vala now walks the earth as a mortal. He is slowly regaining

the consciousness of his true past and regaining some of his Godlike

abilities in small violent bursts of rage and insecurity of who he

truly is.
