Rhino Morph

Hey everyone! For my latest project I wanted to start a play by play from the very beginning, so you all could see my process to the very end!

For this project I decided to create the Rhino character from Beyond Good and evil. I chose this character because it was good opportunity to use all the skills I learnt from my Think Tank Online mentorship and apply them to this character. My aim for this character is to continue working on anatomy/sculpting skills and also texturing and look dev skills to create a photo realistic character.

To start the project I spent a day or so looking for reference, which consisted of both rhinoceros and human anatomy. As it would be important to them right in order for the character to look believable. The face especially will require a lot of iterating to get the right balance of rhino mixed with qualities of a regular human face.

Its still early days with alot tweaking needing to done to the overall model but I can already see the rhino in him! More updates to come!
