Round of applause for our sponsors

It is an Alsatian grocery store (Alsace, France) from the early 1940s, during the German occupation. This grocery store, emptied by rationing, seems to participate in the collaboration with the German Nazi. But this "collaboration" is only a cover, because at night when the shop is closed, members of the Resistance find themselves in the back shop.

These two images are the result of my final project of my first year of study in animation filmmaking at ESMA.
We had to make a photorealistic diptych, with a narrative intention in a grocery store.
