The story tells about the life of Koike, grandson of Japanese immigrants who came to Brazil, and the reality of Japanese colonies. That reflects a lot of my family reality, so I used them as a big reference.
Here are some pictures that I found.
Child Character: exploration, hair iteration, clothes iteration.
Hair cut based on the references mentioned above and trying to represent the types of haircuts of the time.
For the color exploration of the clothes I tried to use the colors present in both Brazilian and Japanese flags
Child Character: model sheet, expression sheet and action sheet
