Pin-up Bust
I wanted to try my hand at a pin-up style with hair cards in real time. I had a lot of fun pushing my knowledge of hair, facial expression, and skin and eye shaders with this project. I'm definitely excited to try my hand at hair again.

This bust was completed utilizing Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, and rendered realtime in Marmoset Toolbag. The hair cards were created using Maya Quaddraw, and Polygroups for a more procedural approach to hair card creation.
It is inspired by ancient asian fashion as well as the 50's pin up style. The chinese character on the earrings stands for happiness - which is the emotion I wanted to convey in her expression and the lighting of the final image.
