Antique Violin
Violin Study
Before Christmas I worked on creating a hero asset antique violin following reference of old and well-used violins. I had a friend who plays advise me on the build and purpose of various parts and was able to look at her violin for scale and proportioning.
I really enjoyed this project as it gave me the chance to go ham with the textures and really try to bring it to life. The challenge of creating worn but lacquered wood for a games engine was great and I'd like to try more texturing challenges like this.
