As a child, I always loved creating characters and stories. I obsessively drew animals, dragons, and original characters. During late high school, I realized that my passion is creating creatures, and during my undergraduate years in college I really focused in on the idea of working towards being a concept artist. I had always loved video games, movies, and the like, and I realized that what I really wanted to do is be one of the people that's designing the creatures and characters in them.

As a kid, I always had these stories that I wanted to visualize and bring to life. Then I grew up and started playing video games and watched movies and see the kind of story telling that can be achieved with art in movies. Watching "The Lion King" as a kid really got me interested in animation and drawing. I want to join the entertainment industry to share my art and story with the world.

During freshman year of undergrad (2013) I realized I had a passion for story telling and art. Up until that point, I had been obsessed with video games, 3D animations, and special effects, but I had never put the pieces together that it was something that I wanted to pursue. When I randomly met an art professor one day at a meeting, he opened my eyes to the possibilities and gave me a chance to take his classes. And that began my long journey into the various digital arts

I was always interested in a creative career path, but I really began pursuing it when I started college. As I finished up high school, I was still so unsure of what I wanted to do as a profession. Digital art stood out to me, and I'm so glad I decided to develop my artistic skills through another level of education. Although I haven't dedicated most of my life to digital art like some of my fellow artists, I still have an amazing passion for this field and want to make my mark.

When I was in my sophomore year of college, I realized that games and films were the path that I was always meant to traverse. I spent many year thinking that I could never study art, that I had to study engineering to be successful, and only until college did I realize that what I cared the most about was self expression and creating things that not only I could enjoy, but things that could bring others joy while inspiring them to learn and grow! :)

From an early age I was interested and heavily involved with art, I grew up watching anime and playing video games and that was beginning of my love for creative media. I first knew I wanted to be in the creative industry my senior year of high school but it wasn't until 3 years later that I knew exactly where I wanted to be in the industry.

I first decided to enter the 3D art world after my junior year of high school, having taken a 3DS Max class. Ever since I have focused on environment modeling and game design for both entertainment and serious games.

I was enrolled in the architecture program at Virginia Tech and at the end of my freshman year a group of creative technologies students presented a project they were working on. It was a game. I hadn’t considered that it was possible for me to work on games at this point, but they showed me that, that seemingly unrealistic dream could be a reality. So I switched my major to creative technologies and started teaching myself 3D while also learning the fundamentals of art

I'm still not sure that I do, but I think it's really interesting and fun, so I'm learning!

I have been fascinated by visual storytelling ever since I was a small child. I was always amazed by cameras and computers, and their ability to capture reality in a way that one can relive past experiences, or even to create new worlds. But I always thought I would end up as a programmer or an engineer like my dad was. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I discovered that in an art career, I could not only tell the stories I wanted to, but also satiate my instinct to work in a technical field.

When I watched Avengers Endgame.

When I first opened Audodesk Maya for the first time in 2013 I was both amazed and petrified by the program. I took it upon myself to self teach all the courses needed to create captivating characters, narrative, and immersive experiences. I continue to keep track of the industry, using the latest movies, games, and even art installation to keep me motivated.
