I've always had an interest in video games. My realization came into focus when I started to dabble in making 3d models. I eventually started surrounding myself and talking to people who were novices and pros and found a passion for it. I'm pretty deep into it, and always interested in learning from people and talking about the future of art technology.

I realized I wanted to work in creative media and entertainment as a kid, captivated by movies , TV, and games. Experimenting with graphics software strengthened my skills, and once I began taking digital media production courses it cemented my passion. Since then, I've worked hard to build my skills and create a portfolio of work that showcases my talent.

Hello, I'm Ilenia Di Maria, an Environment Artist with a background in architecture and a deep passion for 3D art. Although I began my 3D career immersed in architectural visualization, I soon realized my desire to tell richer, more interactive stories, leading me to transition into the dynamic world of 3D environment development. It's here that I've found my passion and purpose, crafting immersive digital environments that captivate and inspire.

I realized I wanted to become a 3D Character artist around 2016 after I graduated from my Community College with really not too much of a path and not even a portfolio that can be used in this industry. I have changed that fate. It is a path I want to walk with no regret not doing it later in my life. Every since then, I have been working hard to break into the industry and learning from literally everyone and anyone. I believe learning from multiple sources can offer different viewpoints.

When I was younger I would always have stack of paper and a pencil and just go to town. As I got older I was still working on my own characters thinking I would bring them to life through animation. But I just never knew how to do so. One day I saw an add for Full Sail and I gave them a call one thing led to another and that was the start of my interest in the entertainment industry through character art.

3D Character Artist and Game Developer. Creator of Crumbling World.

I realized I wanted to delve into art industry when I was in senior year high school. Hence, while all my friends were sending in college applications to their dream universities, I stayed back and took art classes outside of school hours. I got my portfolio as ready as can be and I submitted them to art colleges a year later. After graduating with a BFA, I realized my real passion relies in the gaming industry. My learning continues and I can't be more excited!

I worked as a videographer for many years and decided to make a shift into game development.

Ever since I started drawing when I was young, I always wanted to strive to work in the creative industry.

I am a professional 3D Visualizer in Architecture with several years of experience

I studied computer systems engineering. In my last year of study, when I was doing my professional internship, I realized that programming codes and codes without a graphical interface was not for me. I looked at the professionals in the industry and said "I don't want this for my life." I pulled out of my closet a wacom that I bought in 2014 and never used an took Concept Art classes. My mind totally changed.I found MY PASSION. Since that day, I have not stopped.

In 2017 I moved to New York at 25 years old and suddenly realized that if I put enough determination, I could learn the Games Arts. So, I started learning with YouTube videos but still, I was not sure about the role and path I was taking. So, in March 2020, I started Vertex School and now I'm becoming an Environment Artist. Now I work as an Artist at Cyan Worlds Inc.

I realized I wanted to work in the Game and VFX industry in 2018 when I saw my friend doing some programming stuff and he suggested I try to make games with him.

Ever since I played Uncharted 4 I was amazed by how beautifully real game worlds could be. That then lead me to discover Horizon Zero Dawn, and the list goes on. I was halfway through my Architecture course at the time (I have since graduated and left it behind). The common thread between games and architecture was 3D modeling - the one aspect of the course that I genuinely enjoyed.

My passion and my love for games since childhood I have been playing PlayStation since its release in 1994 and has grown up and has concluded games on YouTube. I have a channel called Arqfarasha.

I first got hooked on CGI as a youngster creating text scene files for POVRay to render on my Dad's PC. I loved it as it combined my passions for technology and creativity. Since then, despite having a career as a software developer, my interest in the field has never gone away. I've continued to study and practice in my own time, building a breadth of knowledge across software packages. In October 2022, I joined Vertex School on their Game Artist program.

Art and Video Games were a huge part of my childhood with Fallout 3 practically consuming my life with its immersion and atmosphere- which still has influence on the type of art style I prefer today. It wasn't until around my Freshman year of Highschool that I realized that I could combine my two hobbies into a career, which set me off onto this crazy never-ending path.

When i was a child people use to told me that i had a lot of fantasy. Since the time of the high school, i understand that i love to create and focus my attention on making really good piece of art, and i wanted to combine that with one of the biggest passion of my life: videogames.
