Round of applause for our sponsors

I've been a fan of video games for as long as I can remember. In 2019, I realized that I wanted to work in this industry and bring some of the amazing worlds I've explored to life myself. Since then, I've been working hard to improve my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and level design. I'm always looking for ways to learn and grow as an artist, and I'm excited to see where this passion takes me.

I realised I wanted to work in the creative industry ever since I started drawing at a young age, so I continued to pursue that dream. I have been studying art ever since, having studied Fine Art in middle school, later graduating with Games Arts degree and I am still drawing and trying to refine my craft everyday. I believe that with enough commitment and consistency I can continue to develop my artistic skills and kickstart my career in the creative industry.

I can't remember a time when I didn't know that I wanted to work with creativity. I am from Brazil and I remember that I learned how to spell "designer" at 6 years old (considering how tricky that word is, I am still pretty impressed with young me). That would be my answer to anyone who wondered what I wanted to be when I grew up. It got me more confused looks than anything, but ever since then I have been working toward my creative career, focusing in fashion.

Ever since I first played video games, I always had this fascination in how games where made and how game's have evolved over the years. My love is game design and I enjoy thinking outside of the box, creating new ideas and bringing them to life.

I first realised my passion for the creative industries, particularly in fashion, during my formative years. Growing up, I found myself constantly drawn to the world of design, colours, and self-expression. As I explored various forms of art and design, it became evident that fashion was not just about clothing but a powerful means of storytelling and individuality. My academic journey in fashion design further solidified my commitment to pursuing a career in the creative realm.

I first realized my passion for 3D art when I wan 14 ever since then I have been learning on My own, I am a really hardworking and persistent person who always achieves my goals and gives my best. I never give up and always look for a way to thrive forward

When I was a child I loved game art, game development and gaming in general. i would make models from my favorite games and write stories about them. now that i've grown up i still make models from my favorite games and my own original artwork.

I've always had an interest in this industry, being amazed by both games and films. But when I realised it was a possibilty to be able to learn the skills required in the field I pursed it as hard as I could. The experinces I've had, and what I have learnt in a short period of time have further ignited my passion and motivation to be part that industry.

I was inspired by an indie game developer whose games I played, and I realised that people are able to just make games - and from then I started learning engines such as Ren'py and RPG Maker, and now I have moved on to Unity and Unreal Engine.

At the end of the first term

Around the age of 17 when made me enroll at a college for games art.

I've always had a passion for fashion and textile design, so I went on to study fashion design for my undergraduate degree. Being passionate about sustainability, I found my path leading to digital fashion.

The desire to work in the creative industries, specifically in games and 3D art emerged as a natural evolution of my interests. Growing up, I was captivated by the magic of video games, the ability to step into alternate realities and embark on epic adventures. This fascination extended to interest in game design and 3D art.

Animation has always held my attention. I'm struggling to pick just one moment that kicked it all off.

My work is inspired by those who came before us and their stories, pulling from history my work focuses on quality, and longevity through the use of craft techniques. I create and design for those who find my work and my inspiration just as beautiful or ugly as I do.

Throughout my entire life I have always played video games, they were always my escape from stressful times, and my way of socializing and creating friends. It wasn't until I started playing Arma 2 DayZ mod, Minecraft and the early days of RuneScape that I realized some of these games I love were created by very small teams, or even single developers. It then became a reality that I could make games too, and thats when I started wanting to develop games.

I always had been interested in art.

During my late school years I found I really enjoyed Film Studies and quickly decided I wanted to work in the entertainment industry. Pair this with my love for video games and I knew what I wanted to do.

I've always have been drawing since I was very young. It was the thing I would always enjoy, far more than any other subject I was taught during my education. It wasn't until college where I officially decided I wanted to go down the route of working in the creative media and entertainment industry.

Even as a child I have held a love for the creative arts, starting off with spending the majority of my childhood before the age of 10 drawing dragons and wolves. However, I didn't fully realise that I wanted to work in the creative industries till I was around 13/14.

Start learning game modeling in 2019

Since the age of 10, I have been watching Flash animations and games online and have watched streamers do Lets Plays of games both popular and niche. These have been my biggest inspirations as I began to look into digital art as a drawing medium, and I realised that I wanted to be a part of the game-making industry in my A-Level years, and am now on my way to completing my Games Arts degree.
