Round of applause for our sponsors

When I was young I was really in love with the animated bumpers in between segments on sesame street. A lot of these were experimental works or just cute little shorts of characters in fun settings. I really wanted to make work like that.

When I was a junior in high school I shadowed a graphic designer at Progressive and realized I could make a living doing art for a career, after that, I never turned back.

My whole life has been centered around pop culture, from being named after a Disney character to wanting to actually make the characters move, I have just always been so fascinated with how creative I can let myself be.

Storytelling has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. But when I was really little, I saw a tutorial for making a flip book with post it notes come on TV after one of my favorite cartoons went to commercial. At that moment I learned about what animation really was, and I realized that I could tell stories this way. I've been drawing ever since.

From performing silly puppet shows as a kid to ogling at animated movies as a teen. Creating my own stories and making my own art just seemed like what I was meant to do! Doing art is something that makes me both happy and motivated, and It's something I find a lot of love in pursuing.

Ever since I was a child I always have dreampt about inspiring other people to experience emotions through visual media. I have always loved drawing and creating fun universes and relatable characters. My biggest goal is to help people feel and understand their emotions through Animation and Illustration. =)

As soon as I saw a cartoon when I was a toddler

In my junior year of high school I did an internship for a week or two at Progressive for their graphic design department, everything the department did was so interesting to me and I always adored being a creator . Digital art is still pretty new to me but I have learned and obtained so much so quickly I hope to work in an industry for animation when I graduate the Cleveland Institute of Art.
