When I was 16 I stumbled across Conceptart.org online and realised that this passion I had for drawing could actually be turned into a potential career path. Ever since I have worked hard to make that dream a reality.

As a teenager, I loved to edit and create entertaining videos. Through this, I was slowly exposed to the world of 3D. As addictive as it became, it was always just for fun. I never consider the possibility of doing this as a career but as time passed, I knew this is what I wanted to do for a living.

I have been chasing a creative career for a decade, as a child I always knew exactly where I wanted to fit in, my journey has evolved as time has passed, however, ultimately I strive to work as a creative, building surreal worlds that are immersively believable. I am interested in developing characters, environments, props and ultimately stories, reinforcing the emotive journey we all experience but in a setting that captures the audience's imagination.

I've always wanted to work creatively, filling out spreadsheets of accounts and taxes just isn't my thing! Making things that are appealing to the eye is much more my sort of thing.

When I was 14 I really wanted to get into art but felt like my art skills we're really lacking. I was fairly creative but very technically minded so I never thought working in a creative industry would be for me. In my spare time I picked up the hobby of creating my own games in Unity. Programming them in Javascript and creating the 3d art. I fell in love with the process of creating art for video games. I love the artistic side as well as the technical challenges of being an interactive medium.

It's been a life long desire but it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I decided to pursue a professional career in the field.

While I have always loved games and CGI, it wasn't until I was recommended a game design course at a college that I really considered the option of working in such an industry. Since then I haven't looked back, blurring the line between my hobbies and my work and embracing my love for creating art people will want to look twice at. I've entered the never ending rabbit hole and I'm just scratching the surface of what I can learn and do.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when a friend of mine introduced me to Cinema 4D and a youtube intro he made with it. Although I wouldn't be impressed with it now, I was amazed at the time and it inspired me to make my own. After making my first intro I was motivated to make more and more until I learned the whole process. After spending countless hours modelling I realised this was what I wanted as a career.

Whilst at college, I focused my attention towards engineering and maths. I had a strong passion for art and had never really considered a combination of all three aspects! At least not until I found FX and completely found myself addicted. It took aspects of everything I had previously learned and had been passionate about, I’m learning and just want to continue to do so.

I've been interested in digital art ever since I was 12. Back then I used to help with videos in GTA SA-MP and later on I started learning digital painting and used a little bit of 3D here and there to help me with my drawings. It wasn't until I started studying at Teesside that I became fully interested in 3D.

At around the age 12 years old, I didn't really understand how computer game characters were created but knew that is what I wanted to do. Had no direction when going through school or the opportunities that are available to gain knowledge today. After serving in the military for 10 years, I got to work in my last year of service to develop a portfolio with anything related to computer games to help get accepted to university.

I realised I wanted to work in the Gaming/Film industry when I was little. I have always had a huge passion for art and creating fantasy worlds. As I proceeded through my academic life, I found there could be a job involved with my passion so I have now been on the journey to achieve my goal of becoming a 3D Character Artist ever since.

I originally was going down an engineering career path and began exploring CAD software when I came across 3D Art for games courses. I already loved playing games but I had never considered making them, and after a bit more learning and exploration, I decided that I would rather be making art for games and film.

When I first picked up a game. It wasnt very good but was full interested in how ot was made. Over the years they desire grow stronger and with better games coming out so did my passion.

I've always loved games, books, movies and comics with immersive stories and interesting worlds. I realised pretty early on that I wanted to be a part of this magic and share it somehow.

My first insight into having a professional vision and ambition was at a very young age, maybe 12 years old possibly younger. I knew I wanted to be involved in creating games and films, this vision developed as I proceeded with education and generally growing -up. The idea of being a concept artist became apparent in the final year of college at Leeds Arts University where I based my final projects around concept art.

During my last year in high school I had to decide which path I wanted to follow. The idea for concept art came after I combined my two interests which are video games design and art.

I used to be a chef and used to do 3d art in my spare time by looking at you tube tutorials and other sources. I then decided to take the risk and quit my job and do a full time university degree on games art, and im so glad I did I absolutly love what I do and the people i have met along the way are great.

I think I must have been around the age of 10 when I decided I was going to make The Sims 3. Obviously that came out away before I had even started studying games art. I never really knew exactly what I wanted to do until I tried out a lot of stuff around game design. I did 3 years of Animation at college and knew it wasnt for me, but when I found Concept Art at my University, I knew it was perfect.

I have always wanted to enter this industry as it is a perfect blend of my passion for the both art and technology.

I wanted to work on creative media since my teens because I was interested in videogames and everything that involved in the proccess of its development. Since 2012 I've started to learn how to model and texture characters and props. During my studies I came to the conclusion that my dream job would be to work as a 3D Artist and I'll do my best to get there.

I first realised that I wanted to work in the industry 4 years ago when I was working a braindead security job

when I was doing my GCSE's at school I was tasked with creating my first 3d render for a woodwork class and fell in love with 3d modelling the next few years were spent playing around with the software and ever since that first day of modelling I knew this was the industry I wanted to work in.

We are a group called Eggy Bread Productions. We formed together during our final year of university to create the short film, Beeboop. We all share a passion for creating visual entertainment and strive to join the animtion/vfx/games industry.
