Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I’m a 3D Artist, designer and photographer. Throughout the years I have specialized in photorealism, lighting, texturing and high quality modeling. I have been studying 3D for almost 10 years (started when I was 14 years old), initially just for curiosity but eventually it become my passion. I’m always willing to learn new ways to improve and share my knowledge with others, work together to achieve effective and better results.
Ever since I first got introduced to the world of 3D through classics like Toy Story and Shrek, the uniqueness of the imagery blew me away. 3D just made everything incredibly captivating to me. This, alongside the value and potential I see in storytelling, is what ultimately made me want to dedicate my life to entertainment.
Since I was a kid I started to film stop motion videos with my WWE toys, I was good at painting and taking photos, I just didn't know I was an artist even when I started to study my Bachelor's degree in Animation and Digital arts, then when I went to Spain to study my Master's degree in 3D Animation, modeling & VFX in Coco School, I realized I was an artist and found out who I am and where I want to go. Now I have a demo reel as 3D Generalist and I'm looking for experience in the industry.
When I was in high school, a professor from the Tecnológico de Monterrey gave us a talk on the mayor of Animation and Digital Art. When he started talking about what we could create as a 3D artist, it changed my life. He gave us different examples of how some scenes, from movies that I've seen all my life, were created. It opened my mind and showed me what I wanted to do for a living. Since then, I've been working to learn new things that help me improve as an artist as well as a person.
Since I was little I always played video games and draw all the time. I´m a sports guy, so my day routine was draw, play basketball and videogames. As I got older I saw that I can make a living in the art industry and that was a game changer I had the idea to become an engineer but that that did´t full my eye completly. Then I start to learn how to code and after that I couldn´t resists and go all in with game development and all of the art that comes with it.
I have always loved video games. My brother introduced me to them and taught me how to play and from then on I wanted to work in the video games industry. I started thinking that only 3D animation was needed to create a game (I know, right?), but when I grew older I started investigating a bit more and found the world of game programming and game design and I fell in love with both of those disciplines.
Ever since I was a child I knew there was something magical in the stories and movies that forged my childhood, about the filmmaking industry itself. I grew up and found out that the magic did not only come from great fiction (or non fiction) stories, but from the people who make possible to us to see those fantastic creatures, those mythical places and those things we could never see in the reality we live. I knew from long ago I wanted to form part of bringing that magic to life.
I think my story is similar to many others. Watched so many animated movies and cartoons and was always mesmerized by them. At some point in my life, I started acting and the best part is that I was unknowingly gaining tools that I would apply once I discovered one of the things I love the most: Animation. I didn't even know you could study that until after I finished high school. I fell in love immediately. I have known passionate and talented people and I aspire to be like them.
Around when I was around 16 yrs. old, I've always been fascinated by animated films and series (and many live action too), and enjoy playing many types of games. So, around my junior year of highschool I started to investigate everything relating to animation and art and started to do some practicing in drawing and digital art. Then, when it came time to decide what to study for my career I didn't hesitate and decided to study for animation.
I love creating stories and will always want to learn new ways to tell them. Illustration and character design have granted me a way to explore visually the universe of the stories I write. It inspires me to know that with enough skill, I can transform a vision into art that everyone gets to experience.
