I made a choice to pursue a career in this industry at a rather later stage in my life. I only realized that art was what I was really passionate about halfway through a 4-year software engineering program in 2016. Fast forward a few years later and I now have a bachelor's degree in Animation and am currently pursuing a Masters's degree in Game Art. Now I feel that I am doing something I love and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

I used to play more games so I had an interest in the game industry so I designed my own props

I have been playing video games and exploring computers since I was little. I've always been interested in finding out how things work; and while playing games I always like to look around and see how models have been created and textured. During my time at college I studied Games Design, where I discovered 3DS MAX, and instantly fell in love with 3D modelling. I found the ability to turn a simple shape into a complex model fascinating and fun. I then went on to study Games Design at university.

I have always been driven to create. Since a young age I spent my time drawing and sculpting, creating my own characters and worlds. I have always been into gaming and once I released I could match my creative passion with my love of games, I set myself down the most direct path to achieve this. I found my passion lay within Character art and I have been developing my skills and passionately learning ever since. I hope to inspire others to chase their passion as I have been.

I have been practicing traditional art almost all my life with mediums like oil on canvas, watercolor, charcoal, oil pastels graphite etc. Ever since I was little, art and colors came naturally to me. Creating worlds of fantasy and designing fictional characters gave me a sense of fulfilment. It was the very same reason why I was drawn to computer games, seeing the end results of the effort of all the artists that went into making of the games inspired the curiosity to learn. That's when I knew.

I've always felt a pull towards creativity from a young age and as I grew up, I realised that being a creative was exactly what I wanted to be doing! Since then I've pushed my art skills in and out of school, exploring drawing, painting and even video editing. I knew from a young age I wanted to make games so that pushed me to take a degree in Game Art and here I am, on the cusp of working in the creative and entertainment industry. I can't wait!

Since the days of playing Halo 2 with my Dad; I knew I wanted to be a Game Designer; Starting my course I found a love for 3D modeling and I'm working hard to make that my career path!

when i have completed my schooling i have realized to work in gaming or film industry .

I realised during my time in secondary school that I wanted to be part of the creative industries, taking a keen interest in art and more specifically character art. Over time as I looked at different areas of art I found Game Art, realising this was the path to take in order to create the same content that has inspired me my whole life. I've dedicated my education to games and developed so many characters that have continued to impact my own worlds and creations today.

I first realised it when I watched the behind the scenes of the Lord of the Rings at 12 and was so amazed at how all the on-screen magic was created. Then a few years later I played the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and that really opened up my eyes to it being an actual career possibility to work in these fields as an artist. My biggest passion in life has always been theme parks, and now I have learned that all these skills could apply to that field as well.

After years of successfully working as an Industrial Electrician and subsequently moving to Canada, I made the decision to follow my lifelong passion for video game artistry. To facilitate this career transition, I pursued a formal education in Game Art at Sheffield Hallam Uni, receiving a first-class degree with honours. While my previous career allowed me to develop many technical expertise and problem-solving skills, my passion has always been in the realm of creative expression.

I first became interested in games development as a child, however I never considered it as a career opportunity until I was searching for art courses at college. I found a few game art and game development courses, and upon researching them, I decided to enroll at Leeds City College to study Game Design and Development. There, I found that my strongest fields was 3D art and concept art, and as such I decided to apply to Sheffield Hallam University to study Game Art, where I am now.

I realised when I was a teenager that I had a passion for doing 3D art!

After watching Jurassic park seeing the use of VFX and SFX working together

Since I was little I had an inclination towards arts & crafts. When I was around 16 years old I decided I wanted to combine my love for video games with my passion for creating art so here I am!

The day i discovered that you can make a living as an artist (I was 16). I've always been told how traditional artists have a hard time to survive only of art. I was oblivious of the possibility to become a digital artist, but then I bumped into a university, ESAT Valencia, who was offering exactly that! I wasn't the best student in high school, but my passion for art brought me very far when studying art, who would've thought?

When I was in middle school I started playing video games out of loneliness and I really loved the champion's splash art from League of Legends. I also watched anime a lot so I drew fan art most of the time. I kept persevering in drawing despite being bullied in high school for drawing cartoons. I have an amazing family that helped me pay my tuition in England. In my second year of my animation degree I did an elective on concept art that opened my eyes for the future.

Growing up, I'd always had a passion for art. After years of working in retail, I started looking for ways I could make art into a career. During my time at university, it quickly became a goal to work within the games industry, allowing me to combine my passion for art and video games.

When I was 10 my sister downloaded her first 3D software for a Uni project and I became enamoured with the idea of being able to create anything I wanted in 3D. Programming came later as I realised no one around me wanted to program my ideas for me.

When i had my first Design Engineering Class in Year 12

I have always been interested by the impact of meaningful visual arts can have on someone, a town or a decision.

When I played for my first time super Mario on a Nintendo 64, wanted to know how that was made, and started this journey researching a bit, until I started to study 4 years ago.
