During the second year of my software engineering university course, I was making some games on Unity with my friends, primarily for fun and self-education. At some point, we needed to get unique 3d assets that were not available for free on the internet so I volunteered to learn 3d and make those for us. It was rough at first, but I got the drill relatively fast and realized that it is what I want to focus on from now on.

I've always wanted to work in a creative field, but it was just about finding out which particular medium I wanted. I only figured out I wanted to delve into video games after playing Oxenfree and Hyper Light Drifter during my final year studying film in university.

I was always a big fan of computer or console games. The first time I realized that I had to give the cgi world a try was back when I was studying architecture and I met with a friend who was finishing his master thesis in 3d game creation. When he showed me what he was working with, I instantly felt an excitement and I was deeply intrigued, so right away I knew this was the best choice for me when it came to choosing a career.

I realized I wanted to work as a creative at a very young age, and I fell in love with VFX when Marvel debuted its Bifrost bridge and view of Asgard. I think that's the day I realized the potential of what I could really try to achieve as an artist. The idea I could one day be the reason why something that only existed as a drawing or a thought could become a fully fleshed world and reality . And the best part- I could make it with collaboration from other artists who felt the same!

I took a BDes program at OCADU called Digital Futures in-order to become a creative technologist. By the end of the program I realized that some of my favourite courses were the optional 3D modeling and Game Development courses, so once I graduated I decided to pursue a post-graduate degree at Seneca GAA in-order to learn industry level skills.

I've loved to draw and paint since I was a kid, but it was when I first saw the beautiful characters and environments of Final Fantasy that I realized that bringing exciting worlds to life in an interactive medium would be my dream.

I always had my love towards cartoons. I would draw them very often when I was a kid. Watching animated movies on the screen developed liking towards character designs. That was time when I decided that I want to create my own character which would be displayed on screen.

I first realised that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I accidentally joined a friend for her first day of college orientation. We went on a school tour and navigated through the different departments and we came upon the Animation program at Seneca College. There was this display case with amazing student works and I remember feeling something inside of me click and that was when I knew I wanted to do this.

I always knew I wanted to be a part of the Video Game Industry ever since I played my first online flash game. I always asked myself, "how do they do it?" and from there, it has always been a constant learning experience!

As a kid, I remember watching the movie "Blade Runner" and then getting really fascinated by its thematic complexity and visuals. I didn't know much about the arts of visual effects at that time but as I grew up; researched more about the process and how VFX movies are made, I got attracted to it and later pursued it as a career.

I am an Engineer turned Artist. I have always had a creative drive since my childhood. From photography to creating short films. It took me 2 years of self tutoring and 8 months of Seneca College, to mould my passion into a career. But now I am right on track. I want to learn and grow from all the awesome artists out there in this visual effects Industry. I love Houdini and I want to make mind-blowing effects which can make the viewers go "whoa!"

Since elementary school, I was really attracted to the games I played. From Battlefield 4 to later Destiny; these games impacted my creativity in big ways and inspired me to create. In highschool, I discovered the world of animation, which made me decid to enroll in animation school. Slowly and surely, I found my way back to game and concept art.

when i started using blender and got further into 3D Content Creator that i had ever thought before.

I finished my bachelors degree in Law and realized I didn't want to continue. I had already been drawing since I was little but I didn't think I could make a living as an artist. When I finished my degree in 2017, I decided to take the risk because I din't want to spend my life worried about what might have been.

Over the years I have explored many art forms, learning something different from each one of them. I intend to specialize in Visual Effects, because over the period of time I realized, that all my learning was in service of this. My inclination towards film making started pretty early in my college life, I was taken by its ability to make people smile and by its potential to be a vessel for real world change.

I'm a big fan of the Star War franchise and have always been fascinated by its immersive world and story. It has become a major pump to inspire me to dive into the VFX path.

Since elementary school, I used to draw a lot in the class, creatures, characters, environments. But at high school, I discover the artistic side of the videogames and how people can have the opportunity to work in. And it became my dream. There was an episode of the Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror. The one where Homer ends up in 3D space. Over the years, I dabbled in 3D on my own and in school. However, it took me many, many years to pursue it as a career.
