Round of applause for our sponsors

For my entire life, I have been a prolific and enthusiastic artist. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve combined my artistic skill with my love of technology and found what I hope to be my life’s work: game art and design. I am very social and enjoy collaborating with others. I take direction well and, if given the opportunity, love to lead. As a result, I’ve learned to actively listen, focus on my role in a project, remain sensitive to others’ responsibilities and complete projects on time and beyond ex

I met a few people from Lucasfilm (ILM Singapore) while I was pursuing a degree in Graphic Design back in Indonesia. Inspired by their feature film works, it motivates me to explore the world of entertainment industry. Thus, I've decided to pursue a Master's Degree in the US at SCAD.

Ever since I was a kid, I've loved plunging myself into the worlds of games and film, especially media with extensive worldbuilding and creative concepts. I used to look at works like Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek and marvel at their complexity. I only recently realized I could make something like that myself! I want to be able to create work like the things that captivated me as a kid, and help bring up the next generation of dreamers.

Growing up I had a strong interest in animation and watched a lot of cartoons that taught me about the power of storytelling and finding the fun and humor in the ordinary. At the same time, I always felt a deep connection towards Graphic Design and Illustration. Now, I feel like I’ve been able to combine both of these passions in my motion design work creating powerful visuals that can help brands in unique ways.

Hi, my name is Emma Zhou. I deliver production-ready modeling with extremely clean mesh, professional uvs, and reasonable topology for ideal rigging deformation.

I graduated from Savannah College of Arts and Design in 2022 and now is looking for freelance work and potential full time work. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

I've always loved science and art, and game development seemed like the perfect intersection of both my interests. I was drawn into this industry because of its supportive community and everyone's constant drive to improve their work. As a Character Artist I love creating visually interesting, memorable characters and telling their stories through design, silhouette and color. Characters are my medium of immersive storytelling!

I was unsure what I wanted to do with my life until I had a conversation with a friend about game development and realized that this was something that truly excited me. I have really enjoyed my time at SCAD and found my passion during my studies: Environment Art. I love working with teams and seeing environments come together, and I especially enjoy working on memorable projects that tell a story, inspire people, and allow them to learn new things.

Ever since I was eight years old, I have been fully immersed in the arts. After painfully watching me pick grass on the soccer field for the last time, my parents decided to sign me up for fine art classes. I was hooked. From that point on, I was trying to take as many art classes as possible, spending all my weekends at the Museum of Fine Arts. I've always had a drive for art , and when I came to SCAD, I realized how my art had the opportunity to influence the world through creative media.

Ever since my childhood, I was always interested in watching animation films. When I went to a Pixar artwork exhibition in high school, I first time realize that building a 3D world is so complicated and fascinating. I want to make a beautiful scene and tell the story within my 3D skills.

Starting college I thought long and hard about what I've always wanted to do since I was a kid, and that was to make video games. After transferring to the Savannah College of Art and Design, I have learned that I have a burning passion for what I do as an Environment Artist and I am always striving to reach new heights with my work.

When I realized that there was a thing between graphic design and animation known as motion graphics... that was something I knew I wanted to do for a living.

I first came across 3D art in high school through a video tutorial on Blender that popped up on my YouTube. From then on I realized how much I enjoyed spending hours doing most tasks, like fixing topology or unwrapping UVs, without finding it boring or tiresome just like how I would feel playing video games.

Early in high school I had interest in engineering and art. Games and entertainment was a way to engineer my art. As that passion has grown I realized what I enjoy most is providing an escape from everyday life through entertainment

I've always grown up doing collage, sewing, ceramics and later introduced to dance. I started directing performances and working on social for it, and snuck away during lunch to do fun little dance rotoscope projects. The performances introduced me to digital art and I realized that there are careers that suit my creative needs outside of the core curriculum. Despite loving tactile mediums, I'm drawn to a career in design and digital creation with it's different project scopes and challenges.

There is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing joy and excitement fill someone's face after an experience. I have had creativity and artistic ability in my skill set for as long as I can remember, but what solidified my interest in a creative career was the possibility of transforming people's lives through design whether that has a small or large scale impact. I believe in the power creativity has to change and improve lives.

As a child I've always wanted to work on films. As I developed my drawings skills from a young age I realized I wanted my art to come to life and dreamed of having my work on the big screen. I'm heavily influenced by movies like Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Pacific Rim and Transformers.

I first realized I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I first started 3D Animations in High School, leading myself to place 7th Place in the United Sates for 3D Animation in a SkillsUSA Competition. Attending SCAD helped me learn how to use Compositing and 3D Generalism together to create creative stories, thought provoking videos, and pushing a passionate vision in creative media.

My desire to work as an artist originated from my love and for video games and animations.

When I was younger, I was fascinated by movies such as Transformers, Spider-Man 3, and Avatar. The visual effects in those movies inspired me to start learning about CGI and visual effects. I am mostly self-taught with over 9 years of 3D experience.

Since I was a child I loved art and stories. I was a very creative person. I knew since then I wanted to work in a creative industry.

Since I was little I would spend my day drawing and designing buildings, interiors and objects.

I have always had a passion for cinematics and animation, as well as video games, and the work it takes to shape them. I started out creating traditional artworks and slowly felt myself falling in love with digital painting, building worlds with characters, props, and environments. After my first year at Carroll Community College, I found myself drawn towards the entertainment industry. I want to be a part of what brings people together and collaborate with people who appreciate creatives.
