I realized I wanted to work in the creative industry when I was young. Ever since then I’ve been learning everything I possibly can about 3D art and animation.

Reading all the artist's names in the credits of Uncharted after buying my first Playstation! I had always loved both film and games, but hadn't realized there were other specialized roles outside of the animators.

From a very young age I've always been interested in story-telling and it wasn't long before that fell in tandem with my love of video games. Since then, I've spent my life playing and being inspired by the incredible art of games which spurred me to pursue a career in game development.

I have realized that I wanted to work in the creative and entertainment industry after my first year in college, since then I have been trying to tailor my portfolio to the games industry - hopefully to land a full-time position one day.

My path to the awesome world of 3D is a bit different from most. I was a Firefighter/NREMT-B for fourteen years, eight of which were spent in the United States Air Force. After suffering a career-ending injury on the scene of an emergency, I knew I needed to find something else. Ever since Terminator 2, I've been fascinated by 3D and CGI. I graduated from RMCAD in April of 2021 with a Bachelor's in 3D Animation. I love modeling, texturing, and rendering!

I was playing Tak and the Power of Juju with my father. He was using the controller and I was helping him with the puzzles and where to go. This sparked my interest in video games and from here I began drawing at any chance I got. My artistic abilities improved and people began noticing. After the recognition, I realized that this was my passion. It was imperative that I kept improving and creating art. My main interest lied in video games so game art was naturally the next step for me.

I’ve always had a habit of doodling in elementary school, arts and crafts always stood out to me above all other subjects. It wasn’t until high school that I knew I wanted to pursue art professionally.

As a teenager, I was always into art, but I began seriously researching different career paths by looking into art schools and their majors. Game design stuck out to me the most as it integrated design principles and more technical elements with artistry and craft, and I really enjoyed that.

I realized I wanted to work in concept art halfway into my freshman year here at RMCAD. I love designing characters and I want to learn more about creating environments and worlds. I'm just really eager to learn more tools and tricks for the job as well as it's everything I love to draw.

I've wanted to pursue a life of art since I was seven years old and learned that I could draw my favorite anime characters. Since then I indulged in art as an escape and an expression. Where words fail me, art spoke louder. Ever pushing my boundaries and expanding my skills, I took on a more digital means in 2011. I took on various art commissions from online friends and such of their characters. Since then I wanted to grow more into video games, as I grew up on them.

When I was a kid I would spend all my time playing video games. And one day I kind of just realized my passion for video games, which made me want to grow up to be a game developer of some sort. Although it wasn't until my Junior year of High School that I found out about 3D Modeling and decided that I wanted to pursue it.

I've always loved artwork and was drawing since I could talk. And, soon after I was old enough to walk, talk and draw, I discovered video games. I would make believe and make my own Mario levels on paper and create my own characters at around the age of 3. I always dreamed of making art and video games from that day forward, and hand in hand with this love of games and art came film, animation and pop culture. I love entertaining people, and I want to inspire others with my work!
