Round of applause for our sponsors

Growing up with video games always on my side, I have aspired to one day play my part in creating unforgettable and unique worlds. I initially wanted to create concept art for video game environments and characters until I was given the opportunity to develop game environments myself. Through the knowledge I have obtained going to Ringling College of Art and Design, I was able to discover my passion for video game creation and my drive towards wanting to work in the entertainment industry.

Once I finished Goad of War 3 they gave you the opportunity to watch the making of videos. Watching those videos inspired me to download blender and give it a shot, didn't look that hard. I was very wrong. But after months of practice, then years of personal honing, and culminating with me as a Senior at Ringling College of Art and Design I'm proud of where i am as a technical environment artist.

Growing up my family would have animated movies and shows constantly playing. I would sit, watch them, and try to recreate the characters that appeared on the screen. In 5th grade, I was assigned an essay; "what do you want to be when you grow up?" and wrote about how I wanted to be an animator. Ever since it's been a path of improving my skills in the 3D animation process to create a passion and hopefully a career.

I began drawing for fun when I was in 8th grade, but decided to make art my career around my Sophomore year. Movies such as "The Lion King" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse" inspired me to pursue a career in animation specifically, and I began to build up a portfolio.

about 3 years ago, When I was just finish my freshman year, I meet some people in game industry. They showed me the magic of game development, so I decided to become more than just a gamer.

It wasn't until the end of my senior year in high school that it really hit me - I wanted to be an animator. I always leaned toward art based projects but was never sure what exactly I wanted my role to be. The story is a bit cheesy but it all goes back to the League of Legends cinematic videos! Connecting with the story and emotions, I always felt, for lack of a better word, alive when watching them and realized I wanted to reach others through animation the same way.

In high school I was exposed to 3D tracking, type animation, and video editing through Cinema 4D and Sony Vegas Pro. This really ignited my passion for digital creation overall, and lead me to pursuing an education in related fields. I have now currently graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design's motion design program, and am pursuing a career in 3D design and animation.

I first realized you wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I started to work in Cinema 4D. I used to be a digital painter until I started incorporating 3D into my paintings. I made the switch from illustration to motion design my senior year of high school and I am now enrolled in Ringling College of Art and Design's Motion Design major.

I fell in love with animation when I saw how it can evoke emotions and captivate people.

I have always been passionate about art and design. In highschool, I studied architecture and fine arts, and since I have always imagined myself working in a field related to the visual arts world. When I started out in my first year at Ringling College, I learned more about Motion Design and became fascinated with the possibility it could offer me in the future.

When I was 8 years old, my aunt used to bring used papers in her office for me to draw stuffs I saw from TV. I started drawing anime and begun to put my own imagination into it! In my middle school year, I watched a movie, AVATAR which got me intersted in digital art. Now here I am in Ringling College of Art & Design, majoring in Motion Design and my future will be brighter than I could've ever imagined.

Towards the end of junior year of high school.

I'd like to say when I was a child starring at unlocked concept arts and process pictures from Metroid Prime 2: Echos.

I first realized this when I was in high school and I started to develop a passion for film and graphic design through my YouTube channel. Eventually, I applied for a Career Center in high school and that led to me applying for RCAD which is where I am currently pursuing my true passion.

I realized I wanted to work in the creative field at a young age. Something in it clicked for me and everything I made didn't feel like work. It was play. I remember watching the Nickelodeon bumpers that said, "Now Back to the Show." I admired how they had amazing animation and design. These bumpers made me ask how is that done? and how do I do that? Now, I have the amazing opportunity to do what I love every day. You can find me with a cup of fresh coffee and jamming out on some keyframes.

I understood my calling about 10 years ago while working backstage for Opera Houses in Europe. I dived into set design and painting murals. After a few years, I hit a wall with my creativity and realized i needed to go digital to fully visualize my imagination. This is were i discovered motion graphics.

Video Games Have always been apart of my childhood. Being able to explore immersive worlds and connect with friends on a digital platform has been my inspiration for pursuing a career in the games industry. As and environment artist, I seek to create new and exciting worlds for players to explore whilst also bringing a fine arts taste to my projects, giving them deeper meaning and building up strong design language.

In high school I started messing around with cameras and visual effects. Two YouTube channels named Freddiew and Corridor Digital both heavily inspired me to just pick up a camera and make something.

Growing up I had always fancied myself as more of a creative type. I have been able to create incredible worlds with enriching history and I wanted to find a medium to bring them to life. No other career path seemed very interesting to me and working in a 3D space is where I excel.

During high school, I discovered that I thoroughly enjoyed crafting things intricately and beautifully, as I struggled with verbal expression; art became my language.

From a young age I have always loved art and being creative, but it wasn't until I was about to go to school for a STEM degree that I realized I wanted to go into a creative field instead. I saw how passionate the other students were about going into Forensics, and I realized that the thing that made me that passionate was design and animation.

Growing up in Thailand, I always love drawing and teaching myself all kinds of art and crafts. Adaptability is my forte. But not until high school that my love for art and technology led to learning 3D animation and my future goal to be a part of the 3D animation/game industries.

I have loved drawing and watching animated movies since I was little. Hayao Miyazaki was one of my favorite film directors who greatly influenced my passion for art. When I was around 13 years old, I stuck an A4 paper on the wall next to my bed with the words "I want to become the second Hayao Miyazaki" written on it. That was the first moment I realized I wanted to work in creative industries.
