Round of applause for our sponsors

I have always loved video games, art, movies, films. Creative disciplines have always captured my passion and interests. Creating board games or card games with friends to see and build communities in art and games. These have always been passions of mine and went through multiple schools and am now teaching animation as I work toward my goals.

When i was 16-17 i accidentally watched an FX breakdown and i was so amazed that i knew what i wanted to do in the future. At the age of 20 I've started by signing up to a College to learn the basics of 3D Industry, after that i started searching around about FX and i've found Rebelway and Houdini so my Journey to FX started on Year 2020.

Since I was child I had a lot of passion for video games till now and I'm still amazed about technology , animation and storytelling

I realized that I wanted to do creative work in general, back in 2007 when I was studying to be a programmer. At that time, I discovered the possibility of creating music on my own. A bit later I realized that programming this is not quite my path. Then I entered the University of Film and Television, and during studiing at the Sound Design of Audivisual Arts courseI realized that visual creativity is no less exciting than sound and musical. And now I try to get the best from both worlds.

A couple of years ago, when I was a teenager I realised I wanted to work in films and TV series. What really woke my interest in this was watching films such as The Lord Of The Rings or Transformers, and since then, I've always wanted to belong to this fascinating industry.

At first I wanted to be a 2D animator when I used to watch anime, but it was hard to get into. Then I found 3D through gaming and thought it would be a really cool move.

https://www.rebelway.net/vu-pham-alumni-success-story For me, that was the beginning of a new era, a new realm I got to explore. I always wanted to do FX like in the movies that have their visuals created by major VFX studios like ILM, Disney, Framestore, MPC. Thanks to Houdini, my workflow became extremely flexible: with its procedural tools, you can solve all sorts of problems using just a single software application, there is no need for any plugins or endless add-ons.

From a young age, I always had an interest in creating digital stuff. I started with filmmaking and photography and the latter, when I started the Multimedia at University, I got really interested about 3D art. I started learning on my own and worked for a bunch of clients as a Freelance. Later I realized I wanted to push more and specialize myself so I could become an FX artist.

Currently looking for a VFX artist roll specialized in simulations and also taking a Hollywood FX Artist Certification by Houdini in Rebelway and with an engineer degree in animation and visual effects. Already worked as an internship 3D general artist for a reowned mexican vfx studio and also as a freelance artist for some years.

When I saw those Star Wars Titles on the cinema. I knew I wanted to make something like that, it has been a long journey of discovery.

I realized in college I wanted a career in film.

I love the art of compositing and 3d Environment. I started to learn and set an ultimate goal since i was 15.

I struggled in a regular education setting when I was younger, and as such spent a lot of time with games as a way to get through it, this in turn started to grow into wanting to know more about the industry. After that I found out about a Games Design course which I applied for at college, and from there I found visual effects, and more specifically, Houdini.

When I was 10 my father showed me "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)". That movie entranced me like none other I've ever seen. I watched that film over and over, Seriously, I never put it down. That movie transported me to a fantastical... terrifying... beautiful world that I still fondly remember to this day. I will harness the powers of VFX, to one day, create content that will transport viewers to worlds that expand their imagination, just as mine was.

As a child I was obsessed with video games, like most people, and thought it would be amazing to make that a career. Unfortunately I lost all interest in that. Until Covid hit. I wanted to pick up a new hobby and stumbled upon Unreal Engine. I used it mainly to create cinematics. My love for Unreal eventually led me to where I am at today. Now learning to create VFX for films.

Since the first time I watched toy story in cinema I wanted to be part of the Pixar movies but as I was getting older I kind of forgot the feeling, but it resurges when avatar came around and that lava scene in Star Wars revenge of the Sith.

Wanted to work in the creative media industry at the age of 15

Long time ago. Actually, since I was a teenager, specially after being amazed by watching high feature films such as Transformers or the Lord of the rings.

I am a dedicated artist, whose main goal is to never stop learning, developing and being better

Since I was a child.

I work as a director since 2016 and always were fascinated by VFX. Two years ago, I decided to take a leap and try to learn how to do it.

When I was 22, at the university. I was learning for industrial designer, but soon i realized that my profession doesn’t give me what i really desire and since then i wanted to fo cg and fx for film industry.

I've always wanted to work in the animation industry, inspired bt comics and Anime most of all when I was a kid, But It was possible to start leaning into it on 2010. First traditional animation, then 3D as a generalist and finally FX
